Alcohol Rehab: Kyle Richards Hasn’t Visited Sister Kim In Treatment

Alcohol rehab may prove to be a lonely place for Kim Richards, whose sister, Kyle, has yet to visit. According to an April 29 report by Radar Online, Kyle has not visited her sister in rehab, but she has reached out in other ways.

“Kyle only called Kim once since she checked into rehab. Kyle hasn’t visited Kim at rehab.”

During her interview with Dr. Phil last week, just before entering alcohol rehab, Kim revealed Kyle had texted her after her drunken arrest on April 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Although fans have slammed Kyle online for not traveling to alcohol rehab to see her sister, she may have been advised against doing so. After all, many treatment facilities don’t allow visits for the first week — or even longer — and Kim has only been in alcohol rehab since last Friday.

According to the Radar Online report, Kim and Kyle hadn’t been in touch for more than five months before the recently aired Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 reunion was shot.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, a source alleged earlier this morning that Kim wanted to leave alcohol rehab early after growing concerned about her pit bull, Kingsley. Although her ex-husband, Monty Brinson, reportedly told the reality star he’d care for the dog as she tends to her issues in alcohol rehab, Radar Online reported Kim has been increasingly frustrated with the situation.

“[Kim Richards] pitched an absolute fit! She wanted to leave for a few hours to go home and check on Kingsley. Kim even asked a staffer if Kingsley could be brought on the premises to visit! She was told no, it wouldn’t be permitted, and she threatened to leave again. She is fighting the process.”

Kim has struggled with an addiction to alcohol for many years but recently relapsed after a highly dramatic fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which included the fallout between her and her sister.

During the show, which was filmed months before Kim entered alcohol rehab, she and Kyle feuded over a number of things, including their late mother’s Palm Springs home, and Kim’s relationship with Brandi Glanville (during season 5, Glanville was seen suggesting Kim distance herself from Kyle so that Kyle would have more respect for her, and the troubled star listened to her alleged “best friend”).

Kim is expected to remain in alcohol rehab for the next couple of weeks.
