Batman In ‘Suicide Squad’? Ben Affleck Captured On Set In Toronto

Ben Affleck’s Batman is rumored to appear in Suicide Squad after the actor was caught on set in Toronto wearing one of Bruce Wayne’s infamous suits.

At first, Ben Affleck was snapped landing at a Toronto airport by E Talk, who immediately teased that because he was in the same city as where David Ayer is currently filming Suicide Squad, the follow-up to next spring’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, he could appear in the blockbuster too.

Of course, simply being in the same city as Jared Leto, Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie and others is far from proof that he would be appearing in Suicide Squad.

However, Bart Fear soon took the rumor to the next level by uploading an image which depicted Ben Affleck, in costume as Bruce Wayne, being guided into a trailer in Toronto.

In the above image, not only is Affleck wearing a flashy suit that looks similar to the one he wore in the official teaser trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, but he also has the same grey tinges in his hair that were obvious in the debut clip for the blockbuster.

If Ben Affleck does appear in Suicide Squad, then it would hardly be a surprise. It had previously been suggested that he might have a cameo in the film, while at the same time others teased his superhero would simply be mentioned rather than actually making a physical appearance.

Throughout Suicide Squad’s comic-book adventures, Batman would often come into conflict with the gaggle of incarcerated super-villains who are sent on impossible missions by the government to reduce their time in prison.

If Affleck does appear in Suicide Squad, then fans will be chomping at the bit to see his Bruce Wayne/Batman going up against Jared Leto’s Joker. At the moment, it’s still not known if this photo is either the first real proof that Affleck is in Suicide Squad or if it’s just a huge coincidence. We’ll now just have to wait and see how long he sticks around Toronto to find out if he is actually making an appearance in the blockbuster.
