Ann Wilson Married: Heart Rocker Weds Her ‘Friend’ And ‘Angel,’ Dean Wetter

A legendary rock star has been tamed. Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson has married, to a man who — in her wilder days — she tried, and failed, to get between the sheets.

That’s because Ann’s new husband Dean Wetter was, and is, a gentleman, she told People.

“Dean and I first met in the ’80s and went on a date where we both got smashed and I tried to seduce him. Like the gentleman he is, he declined. Years passed, we got back in touch after we had both grown up, and Pow! – It worked! Did it ever!”

Patience paid off.

Both Ann and her groom are 64. Wilson has never been married before, but had a romance in the 1970s with Heart manager Michael Fisher, Today added. Rumor is, the band’s classic “Magic Man” may have been about their split.

Ann also has two kids, who she adopted in the 1990s — Marie in 1991 and Dustin in 1998. Now that she’s married, her family is complete.

Here are all the girly deets: Wilson and Wetter’s April 25 nuptials took place in the Topanga, California, backyard of Ann’s manager, Carol Peters, Us Weekly added. They said their vows under a floral arch in front of a small group of friends.

As for Wilson’s dress, the singer rocked purple lace ensemble by Anthony Sartino, a friend — shoes were by Giuseppe Zanotti.

And let’s not forget about the ring. People described it as “2-carat white diamond set in a platinum band, and rose-cut white diamonds set in white-gold briolette earrings by Rose de France.”

The most important deet, however, are the sweets — wedding guests got to eat a three-tiered cake from Sweet Lady Jane.

Newly-married Ann called her wedding beautiful, but most importantly, she spoke for both herself and her husband when she said “we are super blessed to be sharing life together.”

“He is my friend, my angel, my husband. I am truly happy.”

Congratulations, Ann.
