Strippers Save Little League Team

The Jet Strip Cabaret strip club in Lennox, California., has saved the day (or rather, the season) by donating $1,200 to the struggling Lennox Little League, the Daily Breeze reports.

It was Jet Strip general manager James Wallace’s decision, although he doesn’t want to take credit. Wallace told the Huffington Post, “It’s certainly not about me. I’m glad we were able to do it this time.”

The little league had encountered a problem when state health boards stopped them from selling burgers and hot dogs during games die to health concerns. this accounted for most of the league’s budget.

When Wallace read about the League’s financial trouble, he took up the issue with the Lennox Coordinating Council. Wallace has been on the council for 12 years and describes it as a “voluntary group that acts as a sort of city council,” since Lennox is an unincorporated area. Lennox is a low-income neighborhood near the Los Angeles International Airport.

the council decided that the League was really important to the community.

Wallace said,

“We felt like it was going to be a big disappointment for the kids, and they definitely need positive activities in all areas. It’s a good feeling to know that you can help and that it means something to somebody.”

The council coughed up $600 and Wallace and the strip club ponied up another $1,200. They then presented the money to the school board.

Now the question is whether the league will be able to survive long term. The field they play on has to have a drain built for $65,000 to meet health codes.

Wallace said his strip club also donates to Lennox park as well as to the St. Margaret Center for the homeless and needy in the area.

Wallace said he and his stripper would like to see the league survive on its own but if asked to help again he said,

“If necessary, we would probably do it again.

Have you ever heard of such kind hearted strippers before?
