Kris Humphries Transphobic Tweet: Basketball Player Slams Bruce Jenner On Twitter
It didn’t take long for Kris Humphries to tweet something rude after Bruce Jenner’s big interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night. The basketball player, who currently plays for the Washington Wizards, took to Twitter to share his thoughts. Many fans thought that Kris came off as offensive and transphobic in his tweet.
Humphries, 30, tweeted the following, thinking he was probably being funny.
Man, I’m glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou

It didn’t take long for fans to attack the athlete. Some of them called Kris out for his highly offensive tweet. Of course, there was a lot of cussing involved, but here are some of the cleaner responses that came from Kris Humphries’ controversial tweet.
@KrisHumphries and that is just one of the reasons people boo you when you go on the court #looser

@KrisHumphries You should be ashamed of yourself but you’re clearly too ignorant to be. Try opening your heart & mind & educate yourself.

Humphries didn’t realize that he would get so much hate for his tweet. He later backtracked his thoughts and apologized on Twitter. Humphries also revealed that he was “vague” in his last tweet and that it was taken out of context.
I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across.

In case you don’t know who Kris Humphries is, he was once married to Kim Kardashian. They declared their love for each other in a highly televised event on the E! Network. Kris and Kim were married for 72 days before she announced that she was divorcing him.
Kim is now married to rapper Kanye West, who actually supports Bruce Jenner’s transition in a woman. The former Olympian revealed Kim’s story to Diane Sawyer.
“Kim told me a story. She goes, ‘You know what really turned me around on thinking about this?’ I said, ‘What?’ She goes, ‘Kanye.’ I went, ‘Oh, okay.'”
“He says to Kim, ‘Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything.'”
“Since then, Kimberly has been, by far, the most accepting, and the easiest to talk to about it.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has been ignoring Kris Humphries (as she should) on Twitter. She took to the social networking site to share some photos of herself with Jenner, along with some loving words.
