‘Pretty Woman’ Julia Roberts Still A Stunner As Clooney’s Love Interest 25 Years Later

Julia Roberts still manages to be a stunner even when dressed down on set of her latest thriller Money Monster, in which she plays the love interest of George Clooney.

Currently on location for the new flick that is directed by Jodie Foster and in which Julia stars alongside Jack O’Connell and Caitriona as well as Clooney, Roberts is ever the pretty woman. And although she recently was spotted toting a large bag of cosmetics around the set, this natural beauty is not in need of any touch ups.

At 47-years-old and after winning Academy Awards and starring in some of the most unforgettable films that have been produced, Roberts still looks as gorgeous as she did when she wowed the world in the 1990 hit Pretty Woman. As the Daily Mail reminds, “She just celebrated [the] 25-year anniversary of Pretty Woman, which shot the leggy star to fame.”

Roberts’ career is far from slowing down either. This mother of three also has just wrapped up shooting for the Argentine film El secreto de sus ojo, which when translated means “Secret In Their Eyes”. This film is due to hit theaters in October. The Daily Mail relays the film’s synopsis.

“The film tells the story of a retired legal counselor who writes a novel hoping to find closure for one of his past unresolved homicide cases, and for his unreciprocated love with his superior – both of which still haunt him decades later.”

While Roberts is shooting the Foster-directed film Money Monster in New York, she is making sure to spend time with her co star and good friend George Clooney off set as well. Recently 53-year-old Clooney and his lovely wife Amal were spotted out to dinner with Julia. The trio dined at Claudette for “a long three-hour meal,” as Business Insider shares.

Amal Clooney is making the most of her time while in New York. The 37-year-old human rights lawyer and “fashion icon” has shifted along with George to make NYC her temporary home while her hubby films with Julia.

On the set of Money Monster, Julia Roberts and Jodie Foster, who used to be prime competitors for lead roles back in the 90’s, have been getting on like a couple of besties. The two leading ladies clearly have a profound respect for one another and this truly comes across in recent photos that have been snapped by the Daily Mail of the two while interacting during scenes on New York City streets.
