NY radio personality George Weber murdered

WABC New York radio personality George Weber was found stabbed to death in his Brooklyn apartment.

Weber’s body was found Sunday morning by friends when he didn’t show for work, although police believe he died Friday evening.
Weber had several stab wounds in his neck and upper torso and his apartment had been ransacked, although there was no sign of forced entry.

Weber’s resume includes stints at KIMN, KOA and KTLK in Denver, KMPC and KABC in Los Angeles, KGO in San Francisco and KOGO in San Diego. Until February 2008, he hosted the WABC New York morning show for 10 years, and covered the fall of the twin towers. After being laid off, he freelanced for ABC News Radio.

Weber also blogged, with his last entry Friday at georgeweberthenewsguy.blogspot.com.
