In Response to Rush Limbaugh, Sir Richard’s Condoms Starts Pro-Slut Campaign

Sir Richard’s Condoms has conceived a “Sluts Unite” website and social media drive. Their goal is to mock Rush Limbaugh’s treatment of Sandra Fluke and to promote healthy safe sex. They have devised a public service campaign that they hope will go viral.

The campaign calls on people who believe in safe sex to chose from a bunch of social media avatars such as “I Believe In Slut” and “Pro-Slut.”

Sir Richard’s condoms has also created a mock oath to be recited by their supporters.

The oath is as follows,

“I believe that sex represents more than just the creation of children.
I believe it is an enjoyable, healthy and a profound part of the human experience.
I also believe that the responsible use of birth control is an essential component of a mature, civilized society.
And if these beliefs make me a slut in some people’s eyes, then so be it.”

Sir Richard’s, which donates a condom for every one it sells, has become the latest company to embrace so-called “conscious consumerism”.

Rush Limbaugh caused a huge controversy weeks ago when he mocked Sandra Fluke. Fluke testified before Congress that birth control should be covered under all health insurance plans. Limbaugh responded by calling her a slut and a prostitute.

Since then dozens of advertisers have fled the Rush Limbaugh show en mass, saying his comments do not represent their values.

Rush Limbaugh has one of the most listened to radio shows in America and appeals to a decidedly conservative base.
