Linsey Godfrey Update: ‘Bold And Beautiful’ Star Shares Great News Post-Injury

There’s great news out for fans of The Bold and the Beautiful star Linsey Godfrey. Though she has had quite the recovery battle after being severely injured in a car accident, she seems to be making great strides. Godfrey shared an update with fans that was full of great news.

As was previously reported by the Inquisitr, Linsey Godfrey was injured after being struck by a car in February. She had simply been walking down a sidewalk in Los Angeles, and a collision between two cars sent one up onto the sidewalk and into her. Fans were quite worried at the time of the accident, as she needed surgery and spent quite a bit of time in the hospital.

Godfrey later revealed that she had two broken and dislocated ankles along with tibia and fibula breaks that went through the skin. She went through two surgeries and tackled a lot of physical therapy. She has shared a few photos on Instagram since the accident, showing her working with a walker and with boots on both legs.

Now, however, Linsey is doing much better. One of the Bold and Beautiful star’s most recent Instagram photos showed her with both of her legs lifted high over her head, and she had tennis shoes on both. While it seems that some scarring can be seen, it’s a sight that shows Godfrey looking much better than in some other recent posts.

Linsey wrote, “Who has two working legs and will be walking down the red carpet at the Daytime Emmys?? THIS GIRL!”

Godfrey added a handful of emojis to reinforce her excitement. The Bold and the Beautiful star has since tweeted that she has now done a dry run of her makeup and hair for the big event, which takes place on Sunday.

As Gold Derby notes, the B&B actress is nominated in the Supporting Actress category, her first time in that category in the Daytime Emmy Awards. Last year, she was nominated in the Best Younger Actress category. This Supporting Actress category is definitely a tough field this year, with fellow nominees including women such as Amelia Heinle, Nancy Lee Grahan, Kim Matula, Michelle Stafford, and more.

Linsey is back to work now as Caroline Spencer on the soap, and fans are thrilled to have her back. While she’s been off the canvas or in modified scenarios since her accident, it would seem that she’ll be back to full throttle relatively soon.

It’s been a challenging few months for the Bold and Beautiful actress, but it sounds like she’s accomplished big things in her recovery. Fans can’t wait to see more of Caroline on-screen as well as watch Linsey Godfrey walk down the red carpet at Sunday’s Daytime Emmy Awards.
