Mackenzie Douthit Speaks Of Josh McKee For The First Time Since Divorce Reports Surfaced

Mackenzie Douthit and her husband Josh McKee are reportedly headed for divorce. Over the weekend, as the Inquisitr reported, it was alleged the Teen Mom 3 couple had a falling out over Douthit’s recent car crash, which, according to TMZ, led McKee to walk out on the reality star and their two children.

While Mackenzie Douthit and her husband have yet to officially announce their divorce, Douthit recently spoke out about her husband for the first time since word hit the web that they had split.

On April 22, after a fan on Twitter asked Mackenzie Douthit about what her and her family eats, Douthit mentioned McKee.

“Josh and the kids eat a lot less healthy than I. And I’m ok with it due to the fact they don’t suffer with my disease.”

As fans will recall, Mackenzie Douthit suffers from diabetes.

Mackenzie Douthit and her husband were first seen on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, which followed them as they welcomed their first child, son Gannon. On the show, the couple had their ups and downs, which continued when the were later featured on Teen Mom 3. Throughout the show, Mackenzie Douthit and her now-husband were seen strained, and after the show wrapped, they reportedly called off their engagement a number of times before walking down the aisle in August 2013.

As Us Weekly reported at the time, Mackenzie Douthit announced her marriage on Facebook, and, in the same post, revealed she was expecting her second child. Although the majority of the post was focused on the progression of the reality star’s life, she also called out her local haters.

“For everyone wondering, I’m 12 weeks pregnant… time to tell the truth… Been married for months but I’m not allowed to get pregs with my husband without Miami girls subtweeting… do I look like I care???? Im married yall and happier than all of you.”

“Yes I love everyone checking on me, but yes I have reached my breaking point and have literally been through hell and back these last three days. I have kept this a secret because I’m probably the easiest target of all miami to judge. I only told cause people are asking why I’m fat lol…. So I’m not texting anyone back right now I need some time to myself. So sorry if ur mad cause I’m not texting back.”

Mackenzie Douthit and her husband, McKee, welcomed daughter Jaxie in February 2014.
