Bruce Jenner Feels Great About Sex Change As His Sons Continue To Refer Him As Their Dad

Bruce Jenner reportedly feels good to know that his story is finally being shared with the world. The world will be watching the former Olympian as he sits down for an exclusive interview with ABC News veteran Diane Sawyer.

In the new issue of Us Weekly, the two-hour interview special edition of 20/20 will details Jenner’s transition from male to female. The 65-year-old is feeling good about having “to reintroduce himself to society as a woman,” according to a source. Jenner is ready to get his gender reassignment surgery going as well.

The insider told the magazine, “Bruce is very proud and excited.”

A recent promo shows Jenner telling Sawyer, “My whole life has been getting ready for this.”

The source included more details about the former Olympian’s highly-anticipated interview.

“Bruce told Diane he has wanted to be a woman for as far back as he can remember. He always felt it and kept burying it.”

Meanwhile, Bruce Jenner’s son will continue to refer to him as their “dad” following his sex change surgery. Another source told Radar Online that Brody and Brandon will call him their father no matter what – and Jenner is apparently fine with that.

“Brandon will continue to call Bruce ‘Dad,’ and Brody will still refer to him either by his first name, or his nickname, Bruiser. Bruce will reveal during the interview that he will always be his kids’ ‘Dad,’ even though he will now be living his life as a woman.”

“For Bruce, it’s about what the kids are comfortable with. None of the kids will be calling him ‘Mom.’ This is truly unchartered territory for the family, and it’s about respecting each other during the process.”

This comes after the news that Bruce was seen wearing a sports bra and a dress. The paparazzi has been camping in front of his Malibu house, hoping to get a glimpse of him as a woman. They also have been ruthless and insensitive about his transition.

In another teaser promo, Jenner describes how his year is going to be.

“2015 is going to be quite a ride. Quite a ride,” he says as he smiles.
