Faye Resnick, a former guest star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, stepped out with Kyle Richards earlier this week. According to an April 23 report by E! News, the longtime friends were seen “all smiles” in Los Angeles just six days after Richards’ sister, Kim, was arrested for public intoxication.
Along with Faye Resnick, who was clad in a leather outfit and heels, Richards was seen sporting a gray fedora, which matched her gray pantsuit, and judging by their friend’s shopping bags, they likely hit up Richards’ Beverly Hills boutique before heading to Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood for dinner.
As fans will recall, Richards’ sister was arrested on April 16, after a booze-filled night at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Faye Resnick was seen a handful of times on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ earlier seasons, but was not seen at all during the recently aired season five, and 2014’s season four. As the Inquisitr reported, the interior designer was rumored to have quit the Bravo show over two years ago.
In March 2013, a source revealed the following in regard to Faye Resnick to Radar Online:
“[Faye Resnick] is a tough cookie, so for her to say that things have become so bad that she is finished with the show, is a big development. She’s a very successful interior designer and being on the show is just bad for business — not to mention the fact that Faye says it is ruining her life.”
According to the source, Faye Resnick was bombarded with hateful messages online after an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills aired that had featured her at odds with Brandi Glanville.
At the time she left the show, Faye Resnick had reportedly been in talks with Bravo to return to the show in a full-time role, alongside her longtime friend, Richards. However, the drama she was getting off-camera was enough to send her running for the hills.
“Faye was being courted to replace Adrienne Maloof next season. Lisa and Brandi need someone to fight and spar with now that Adrienne is gone. Producers are extremely disappointed Faye won’t be back next season because the drama is ratings gold — but, quite frankly, it just isn’t worth it for her to be on the show.”
Faye Resnick and Richards have maintained their friendship, despite Resnick’s refusal to join the Bravo show, which Richards has starred on for the past several years.
