Brandi Glanville Attacked By ‘RHOBH’ Fans On Twitter Over Kim Richards’ Arrest & Relapse
Brandi Glanville was named as Kim Richards’ “best friend” during Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and now, fans are reportedly holding her accountable for the troubled star’s recent arrest and alcohol relapse.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Brandi Glanville took to Twitter on April 16 after hearing of Richards’ arrest, proclaiming she was a “real friend” and vowing to stick by her during the best times and the “worst times.”

After reading the tweet, as Enstarz reported on April 23, several fans slammed Glanville for being a negative influence on the previously recovering addict.
“Was gettin kim drunk ur way of havin a storyline..ur no friend especially not 2 kim..u helped ruine her life..ur toxic.”
“You created a monster in Kim this season with your toxicity leave her alone and let her family look after her.”
Many even alleged it was Brandi Glanville who got Richards intoxicated.
“She got her drunk.”
“I bet Brandi was probably too drunk to notice she got Kim drunk.”
Another fan suggested Brandi Glanville hid Richards’ addiction from her friends and family in the months leading up to the reality star’s arrest.
“Real friends don’t hide a friend’s addiction. They’re honest about the problem, even if it angers their friend.”
Brandi Glanville joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during Season 2 as a friend of the wives, before being upgraded to a full-time housewife during the Bravo series’ third season. At the time she was added to the cast, Glanville was seen feuding with both Richards and her sister, Kyle. In fact, she actually accused Kim of using drugs in Dana Wilkey’s bathroom during a cast dinner and threatened to physically harm her.
Then, years later, much to the surprise of many fans, Brandi Glanville grew close to Kim Richards, and the pair spent time together both on-screen and off.
During Season 5, their friendship became even closer, and Richards reportedly told Brandi Glanville she was her best friend. Sadly, her close relationship with Glanville led to her estrangement from her sister, Kyle. During the show, Glanville was seen encouraging Richards to cut ties with Kyle, and alleged Kyle had been manipulating her for years. Since then, the two sister have barely spoken.
