Peyton Manning Favors Broncos and Cardinals [Insider Reports]

12 teams contacted Peyton Manning after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts and now insiders close to discussions with those teams claim that Manning wants to play for either the Denver Broncos or the Arizona Cardinals. Those two teams also happen to be the first two Manning visited.

Those same sources claim that the Seattle Seahawks have been attempting to setup a meeting with the former Indianapolis Colts star quarterback to no avail.

Speaking to reporters Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams on Sunday said he was still very interested in signing Manning:

“He is the man I want. Period. And the people that work for me understand that. They know who I want. I want Mr. Manning with the Titans and I will be disappointed if it doesn’t happen.”

It’s believed that Manning would like to close a deal as soon as possible, perhaps in the next week, although other teams are expected to jump further into the fray including the Miami Dolphins.

One source close to signing talks told ESPN “his gut is that Manning is leaning toward Denver.”

Manning is friends with Bronco’s vice president of football operations John Elway which could push him in that direction. The Broncos would also keep Manning in the AFC which is believed to be a big consideration for the quarterback.

Manning spent 6½ hours at the Arizona Cardinals’ headquarters and training facility on Sunday, slightly longer than the six hours he spent at Denver’s facilities on Friday night.

Do you think Peyton Manning would make a bigger impact with the Denver Bronco’s or the Arizona Cardinals?
