WWE News: Two Huge Pushes Coming For Two WWE Divas, Does One Include A Title Shot?
The Divas division got off to a great resurgence over the past couple of months, but as of right now, there’s not really many WWE divas at the top of the food chain. Aside from Nikki and Brie Bella, the Divas division is in need of great WWE divas who can wrestle a great match. Natalya is busy being the valet for Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. Paige is off filming a movie, and AJ Lee retired.
With all of that said, there will be a need for more top Divas. Naomi is already receiving a great heel push, but who else is there to rise above the rest? According to Daily Wrestling News,two divas will receive big pushes in the near future.
“WWE officials do have long-term plans right now to give big pushes to Lana and Eva Marie. With Eva, the idea is that she has been training hard with Brian Kendrick and will be a better performer when brought back to TV.”
In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Eva Marie is said to be getting a WWE Divas championship match at SummerSlam. Now, that could’ve been Marie talking about how she wants to wrestle for the Divas title at SummerSlam, but her recent training suggests otherwise. Brian Kendrick is known to be one of the best trainers WWE has at the moment.
If anybody can bring Eva Marie from out of the brink, he can do it. As for Lana, she is a whole different conversation. Since Lana doesn’t wrestle, how would she get a big push? If she doesn’t stick with Rusev, who may be going to the mid-card permanently, there are other wrestlers that could always use a valet. Dolph Ziggler is one option for Lana. Both are attractive people with something to gain.
Another option is a guy like Roman Reigns or Ryback. Ryback is a lot less likely, but Reigns isn’t. He missed out on a WWE title opportunity after his mega-push fell flat at WrestleMania. Reigns needs a valet, period. If the WWE doesn’t pair Roman Reigns with Paul Heyman, then Lana is the next best solution.
Lana recently went on Twitter and “discussed” gender equality. That’s a different article for another time, but if Lana finds that niche in WWE, she has the potential to get even more over with the WWE fans. Would Roman Reigns benefit from Lana as his valet? Rusev found it quite fun to have a good valet to help him win matches. If Reigns wants in the WWE title picture, Lana may be the hidden secret.
