Zendaya Talks To Robin Roberts Of ‘Good Morning America’ About Hosting Radio Disney Music Awards

Zendaya Coleman was a guest on Good Morning America on Wednesday. She was there to talk about her upcoming honor of hosting the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday, April 25.

Before Robin Roberts got into the conversation about the 18-year-old’s hosting duties, she asked Zendaya a few questions about the remark Giuliana Rancic made on Fashion Police about Zendaya’s hair at the Golden Globes. Roberts commented on how Zendaya handled the situation in such a mature manner.

Zendaya told Roberts that she is really excited about hosting the annual Radio Disney Music Awards.

“It’s been really cool going from my first year being there to present, to the second year performing and now my third year hosting. I’m 100 percent down with it.”

Earlier Zendaya told Billboard of her goal for the night. Zendaya won’t be performing this year so she can focus on hosting. She said she will still have her hands full with what she calls “as many wardrobe changes as possible.”

Zendaya said she needs several pairs of comfortable shoes because she will be walking around a lot in the audience to make sure everyone has fun. Zendaya loves fashion, and she loves shoes so much that she is starting a shoe line, according to InStyle. She has teamed up with Law Roach to launch a shoe collection in time for the back-to-school season in September.

The 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards will be held at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. live in Los Angeles, and will air on Disney Channel on Sunday, April 26, preceded by pre-show and red carpet coverage.

Zendaya is a young woman who seems to be headed in the right direction. In August 6, 2013, Zendaya released her debut book, Between U and Me: How to Rock Your Tween Years with Style and Confidence. Zendaya clothing line was inspired by the clothes she wears on Shake It Up. Her fashion collection is called “Shake It Up Dance Clothing Line by Zendaya.” The clothing line features fun clothes for active girls, legwarmers, shorts, jackets, headbands, and athletic apparel and accessories.

The talented star was the first runner-up on Dancing With the Stars during Season 16 with partner Val Chmerkovskiy. She is a singer, dancer, actress, as well as a fashion designer. Now, she can add hosting to her credits.
