Dog Attack Victim: ‘RHOBH’ Star Kim Richards Forced To Pay Over $1 Million?

Kim Richards’ dog attack may cost her over $1 million.

According to an April 22 report by Radar Online, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s former friend, 80-year-old Kay Rozario, who claimed to have been attacked by her dog, Kingsley, early last year, has just requested a judge offer her a default judgement, which would force Richards to pay more than $1 million.

In court papers obtained by Radar Online, and filed by Rozario’s attorney, Bill Zuhdi, Zuhdi requests a “Default Judgment Against Defendant Kim Richards in the amount of $1,050,000.00”

Rozario, who was a “longtime family friend” of Richards, was reportedly mauled by the reality star’s pit bull while staying at her Los Angeles home a year ago. During the dog attack, the elderly woman reportedly suffered “extensive injuries” and was rushed to the hospital, where she received numerous stitches. Following the dog attack, Rozario claimed Richards failed to pay her medical bills.

“We feel that this is an appropriate amount of money due to Kay Rozario’s disfigurement, pain and suffering. We also based the amount requested on Kim Richards’ conduct after the [dog attack].”

Earlier this morning, a judge dismissed Rozario’s case against Evolution Film & Tape, Inc., the production company behind The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During the court proceedings, Judge Andre Birrote Jr. removed the company from the suit, claiming Richards “Has Not Sufficiently Pleaded Justifiable Reliance … Has Not Sufficiently Pleaded the Existence of An Agency Relationship, Because [Her] Conspiracy Claim is Based on Her Intentional Misrepresentation Claim and [because she] Has Not Sufficiently Pleaded a Conspiracy Claim.”

During the same hearing, the judge ruled Richards “shall remain a party to this litigation.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Richards relapsed after the dog attack, and recently met with Dr. Phil in regard to the issue. Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t go well, and Richards reportedly stormed out, refusing to go to rehab.

Kim Richards’ dog attack was a major storyline throughout The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Season 5 reunion. During the show, Richards attempted to downplay her dog’s attack on her sister Kyle’s daughter, Alexia Umansky, which left her hospitalized and in need of multiple surgeries.

Although Umansky was badly injured, and spent days in the hospital after nearly losing her finger, Richards refused to apologize for the dog attack, and claimed she suffered no more than a small bite on her finger. She even went as far as to blame the dog attack on Umansky, claiming it would have never happened if she been calm around the animal.

It was the dog attack on Umansky which reportedly prompted Rozario to move forward with litigation against Richards.
