New ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Details Unveil The Truth About Charles

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Season 6 of Pretty Little Liars.

I. Marlene King knows how to keep Pretty Little Liars fans interested — and more than a little neurotic — even over the breaks between seasons, and this short hiatus is no different, with the occasional post triggering more frenzied PLL discussions about the identity of Charles DiLaurentis. It wasn’t long ago that Ms. King posted the first off-season clue to Charles’ identity on her Instagram, and now the Pretty Little Liars showrunner has posted new clues for PLL fans to obsess over.

It has been leaked, possibly with Ms. King’s assistance, that the Pretty Little Liars super sleuth, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) will be the first one to see Charles unmasked, and it now seems possible that Toby (Keegan Allen) will help to reveal Charles as Big A as well. Could this mean that they will patch things up and Spoby will be back on track?

Adding to the supposition about how Toby and Spencer might come to learn more about Charles and Big A, I. Marlene King shared another photographic clue with her Pretty Little Liars followers, this time captioned “Officer Toby says Game On Charles! #PLLSeasonSix June 2!”

Pretty Little Liars fans can expect the first episode of Season 6 to focus on Charles. This should come as no surprise, because, even before Ms. King’s latest clue, PLL fans already knew that first episode would be titled “Game On, Charles.”

PLL fans may also have noticed a decrease in the subplots regarding the parents in Pretty Little Liars. The production and writing teams have found it a daunting process to keep the parents integral to the Pretty Little Liars main storyline with so many other characters to work with, many of them essential to the development of Pretty Little Liars‘ overall plot. Producers say this will change in Season 6, with the liars’ parents playing bigger roles, integrating them into the story in a way that will make their subplots both interesting and relevant to the Pretty Little Liars theme.

Adding to the intrigue surrounding the upcoming season of Pretty Little Liars, Design & Trend reports that one PLL fan has posted the full list of episode titles. Though unconfirmed by Ms. King or anyone related to the show, the list of episodes provided by @PrettyLittleTheory has spurred PLL fans to develop their own theories about the new season of Pretty Little Liars.

In order, the reported episode titles are as follows.

  • Game On Charles
  • Songs of Innocence
  • Songs of Experience
  • Go Set Yourself Free
  • She’s No Angel
  • I’m Gonna Love You Until You Hate Me
  • Charles Understood
  • Back to Radley
  • Game Over, Charles

The first and last episodes are the only ones to have been officially confirmed by the Pretty Little Liars showrunner. What do you think? Do they sound like typical Pretty Little Liars episode titles? And do they give you any ideas for new PLL theories?

ABC Family will bring Pretty Little Liars back on June 2.
