‘The Flash’ Star Danielle Panabaker Talks Killer Frost, Caitlin Snow, And ‘Flash’ Subjects In A Recent Interview

The Flash, the CW’s newest hot comic book adaptation, has been getting quite intense and dramatic in recent episodes. Reverse-Flash, new villains, relationships, all are ramping up as The Flash starts flooring itself towards what many fans hope will be a big finish/finale. At least two current Flash regulars are based on superheroes in the comics, but have yet to become those characters.

Granted, there has been no indication if they will. The Flash‘s Danielle Panabaker recently sat down with Comicbook to discuss Killer Frost, Ronnie and Caitlin’s wedding rumors, and much more. So, just what did Panabaker have to say? Read on to find out.

Panabaker was asked covertly asked about her character Caitlin Snow’s comic book alter ego Killer Frost, as many Flash fans are eager to know. However, her answer may disappoint in its vagueness.

“I’m certainly aware of Caitlin Snow’s future in the comic books, that she becomes Killer Frost, and it’s definitely something that I’d love to see. I think I bug Andrew Kreisberg on a regular basis just with questions about that.Obviously, Caitlin Snow, her name lends itself to it. But it’s exciting!”

When asked directly about how producer Andrew Kreisberg stated that fans would see Danielle Panabaker as Killer Frost “sooner than later,” she reacted with an exclamatory “Mmm Hmm”. It is not exactly a “yes,” but undoubtedly, fans will accept it. She took another direct question regarding Panabaker and Robbie Amell’s characters getting married in a future Flash episode. Sadly, she was fairly vague.

“I definitely deferred to Andrew on that one. There is a wedding upcoming, but as you know, things don’t always go off without a hitch in Central City. Take from that what you will.”

Comicbook concluded their interview with asking Panabaker how she felt about the upcoming The Flash/Arrow spin-off, and the ever-expanding CW/DC TV universe.

“Truthfully, it actually hasn’t been discussed, the opportunity to cross over to their potentially new spinoff show, but I would love it if I had the opportunity to. Several of those characters, I know from having Wentworth’s character originate on The Flash or from having Brandon’s character come over on last week’s episode of The Flash. I adore all of those actors and would love the opportunity to go and sort of play with them, but again, it hasn’t been discussed yet.”

MTV also interviewed Danielle Panabaker about The Flash, and inquired about her reaction to Tuesday’s “Who is Harrison Wells” episode. She also commented about the remaining episodes. The Flash‘s Grant Gustin was also interviewed about the end of season 1, according to the Inquisitr.

“The rest of this season is more about her bonding, and sort of standing with her friends, and learning how to defeat the Reverse Flash. I think that’s going to be the focus for now. I’m anxious to see what happens in season two after the rest of these next few episodes. The rest of the season is really going to rock their world. Season one is not going to end and tie everything up in a pretty little bow. It’s a roller coaster ride through the rest of the season, for sure.”

With just four Flash episodes left, and Reverse-Flash being closer to unmasked, it’s certainly going to be a bumpy ride going forward. It is safe to say, with all these comic book adaptations, no one has a chilly reaction to see another comic character pop up.
