Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Bobby Brown’s Sister Allegedly Slams Houston Family In Facebook Rant

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition remains a mystery, despite numerous reports based on alleged claims. Although Bobby Brown raised speculation with his recent comments about his 22-year-old daughter being “awake,” her grandmother, Cissy Houston, insists that’s not exactly the case. On Monday, April 20, she released a statement to set the record straight. While she didn’t offer specific details about her granddaughter’s condition, she did make one thing clear — her brain damage is “global and irreversible,” reports CNN.

“I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter … and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma … according to the doctors, she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive.”

However, it has been reported that she is now breathing on her own. So, Bobby Brown’s sister, Leolah, has decided to speak out about the ordeal via Facebook. According to Us Magazine, Leolah slammed the “liars” and those who “lust” after Bobbi Kristina’s massive fortune she inherited from her late mother, the legendary Whitney Houston. Of course, it didn’t take long for the lengthy Facebook rant to catch the attention of the media.

Here’s what Leolah has to say.

“FB friends, Thank YOU! All of you who show your love and concern for my niece Bobbi Kriss!!!” Bobby Brown’s sister wrote. “Those of you who continue your prayers and kind words; I have always told you and I sincerely mean it from the depths of my heart! Your prayers, love and concern will NEVER be forgotten by ME nor BOBBI KRISS! May God continue to use you as a vessel to spread light, love and kind words in such a time where it is needed.”

Leolah continued her rant by slamming those who don’t necessarily have Bobbi Kristina’s best interest at heart. She called out the “liars” and those who “lust” after her inheritance. Although she didn’t specifically name those she condemned, it has been reported that the rant was geared toward Cissy Houston and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, Pat Houston.

“Inspite of what you may hear from those who wish to see my niece go away forever; that they may have their way! Yes I said it!… Those who lust for Bobbi Kristina’s money and seek to benefit from her tragedy! Inspite of what they may say!!! You heard her father~my brother~Bobby Brown! He stood & told the world~BOBBI KRISS IS WAKING UP! It is evidently clear that she is still with us! Correct?”

Although many fans praised Leolah for speaking out, some criticized her for her actions. For those who missed it, Bobby Brown has asked several times that his family refrain from releasing statements about Bobbi Kristina’s situation, but to no avail.

At this point, Bobbi Kristina’s quality of life is unknown. Bobby Brown’s attorney, Christopher Brown, recently released a statement about her health going forward, reports CNN. “Doctors have indicated that she will have a long life,” attorney Christopher Brown said. “However, Bobbi Kristina is presently embarking on a rehabilitation process, and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come.”
