One Direction Is Not Banned From Zayn Malik’s Wedding
You can always count on a Zayn Malik rumor to start off your day. The former One Direction band member is getting married to Perrie Edwards and Hollywood Life once again started a rumor that appears to be completely untrue.
“This is so sad! The boys of One Direction have been by Zayn’s side for 5 years, but it looks like they won’t be there on his one special day! Perrie reportedly banned the guys from attending their summer wedding!”
The tabloid website goes on to say that Perrie is still mad about the (very) alleged cheating incident in Thailand and blames the other boys in One Direction for Zayn Malik’s romp. However, Gossip Cop has derailed the complete story.
“Zayn Malik’s fiancee, Perrie Edwards, is NOT banning One Direction from her wedding, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor. We’re told there is no truth to the report, and it’s completely fabricated.”
Zayn Malik quit One Direction last month and since then, there has been a lot of speculation on why he left the band. Rolling Stone quoted Malik in a story that broke the news.
“My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I’d like to apologize to the fans if I’ve let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart. I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”
It appears that, according to the Guardian, Zayne Malik wants credibility as an actor and has even met with director Gurinder Chadha, who has directed Bend It Like Beckham and Bride and Prejudice. The director allegedly admits that she doesn’t have a role for him yet and that she hopefully will in the future.
It’s quite obvious that Zayn Malik still has good will towards his former band. According to Billboard, Zayne thanked One Direction on stage at the Asian Awards in London last weekend. Malik attended the awards with his mother and it was his first public appearance since leaving One Direction. Let’s hope Zayn Malik has a bright future in entertainment no matter what he decides to do.
