‘Teen Mom’: Leah Messer’s Mother Speaks Out About Rehab Rumors
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer-Calvert is having a rough couple of years. First, her ex-husband Corey Simms fought her for custody of their twin daughters, Ali and Aleeah, then her husband Jeremy Calvert accused her of cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend Robbie Kidd, and now it’s rumored that she’s getting divorced and headed to rehab for substance abuse.
However, Leah’s mother, Dawn Spears took to Facebook to set the record straight about whether or not her daughter is entering treatment for drug abuse, and Dawn says fans shouldn’t believe the tabloid gossip.
“TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey,Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don’t want association with them and wouldn’t NEVER Condone them.”
However, many fans noticed that Dawn put emphasis on the face that Leah Messer-Calvert wasn’t going to a “drug rehab,” is this because she is seeking treatment for emotional issues or something else of that nature? It’s a possibility. The Teen Mom 2 star has been through a lot over the past two years,and the tabloids have ripped her apart.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Leah was recently served divorce papers by her estranged husband Jeremy Calvert, and being as young as she is and about to have two divorces and three children under her belt can be a lot for someone to handle.
Meanwhile, if Leah Messer-Calvert did enter rehab, or has some sort of problem, drug, emotional, or otherwise, it could mean bad things for her custody agreement with Corey Simms.
OK! Magazine reports that Leah stands to lose custody of her daughters, Ali and Aleeah to Corey Simms and his wife Miranda Patterson, as the couple already claimed Messer wasn’t holding up her end of the parenting duties, including taking Ali, who has muscular dystrophy, to her physical therapy appointments.
Whatever happens with Leah Messer-Calvert and her three daughters, Ali, Aleeah, and Adalynn, it will most likely be documented by MTV cameras for Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, which is currently filming and is set to be another hugely rated season for Leah and her co-stars, Chelsea Houska, Kailyn Lowry, and Jenelle Evans, as all four of the girls lives are probably more interesting than ever.
