Meek Mill And Nicki Minaj Engagement Ring Details, Plus Are They Ready For Babies?
Meek Mill recently proposed to Nicki Minaj with a massive diamond ring that features a yellow heart mounted in platinum, as per pics posted by Minaj on her social media accounts.
Morgan Shara of MAS Bisjoux jewelry told E! News, “This looks like a 15-carat fancy yellow heart modified brilliant cut diamond mounted in platinum with a double halo of white pavé diamonds.”
Morgan added that it would retail at around $500,000.
An inside source told E! News that “Both Meek and Nicki have been spending amazing quality time together lately and have gotten extremely close these past few months… They truly love each other.”
For his part, the “Ima Boss” rapper recently tweeted an emoji of a yellow heart with the caption “I wish every night could feel like last night.” The couple’s relationship began publicly back in February after Minaj posted a photo of the two kissing. From then on, the pair have been seen dining together on multiple occasions.
Meanwhile, the same inside source indicates that a baby might be in the cards for the couple.
“Nicki and Meek have discussed family and children. They are both on board as soon as they get married.”
This compliments Minaj’s comments in an interview with Complex magazine.
“I definitely will be married before I have my baby,” the singer explained. “I’ve always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head.”
Meek Mill released his first album, titled Dreams and Nightmares, back in 2012. However, things started to turn bad when the rapper was caught violating his probation for a past drug and firearm charge. He was originally sentenced to serve six months behind bars but was released after serving five months of his sentence.
In an interview with XXL, Mill explained his arrest and how it influenced him as a rapper.
“I ain’t had no idea I was going to jail. Like, I came from L.A. two, three days before, BET Weekend, or something like that,” Mill stated. “Then went to court, boom, I’m in jail the same day. Devastating.”
However, the entire experience was something that had a direct impact on the way he creates music.
“I always look out for people. Whoever want a verse and stuff like that, I used to… the way I [did] it, I give everybody a verse if I’m cool with you. Now, it ain’t like that no more. I monitor. I want people to focus on my body of work before I have 10 songs out with 10 other dudes.”
In regards to his relationship with Minaj, Mills isn’t quiet about his feelings. “That’s my baby right there. S**t real,” Mill boasted in the interview. With a diamond ring now on her finger, it seems like Meek Mill is backing up his comments.
