Liam Payne Is So Excited He Is Going To Run Round Naked: Here Is Why

Liam Payne and his One Direction bandmates are well known for supporting charitable causes. In the past few months, fans of Liam and One Direction have come together to raise much-needed cash for a variety of charitable causes. In honor of Harry Styles birthday, fans raised cash for the London Gay and Lesbian helpline. In honor of Zayn Malik, who has now left the band, fans raised cash for the Asian Foundation, of which he is a patron.

Earlier this week, Liam Payne told his 20 million Twitter followers that he and One Direction will be supporting Trekstock, a charity that supports young adults suffering with cancer. Big-hearted Liam and his One Direction pals have teamed up with Prizeo to offer an incredible prize to fans in exchange for supporting Liam’s charitable effort.

In exchange for making a donation to the charity campaign, one lucky Liam Payne fan will win an incredible prize. The lucky winner and a friend will be flown to London from anywhere in the world, enjoy VIP seats for a One Direction show, and have the chance to meet Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

Amazingly, Liam’s appeal has raised $86,000 of its $100,000 target in just a couple of days, and it still has 11 days to run. It is the success of the appeal that has Liam so excited.

According to Unreality TV, Liam took to Twitter to thank fans for being so generous and to share his excitement. Liam told fans that he was so excited he might just run around naked.

In a touching statement on Prizeo’s website, Liam asked fans to help him raise the cash to support Trekstock while acknowledging the support fans have shown him and the band.

“We wouldn’t be here without all of you and your incredible support, and with your help, we think we can all make a difference to the lives of young adults diagnosed with cancer.”

A spokesperson for the charity explained the aim of the appeal was to help young adults deal with the physical and emotional effects of cancer on their lives.

“In the last five years over 50,000 young adults in the UK have been diagnosed with cancer. For this age group, survival rates are better than ever, but the physical and emotional impact of cancer remains life long. With your help, we can transform the way that support following treatment is designed and delivered.”

According to the London Evening Standard, Liam Payne helped organize a charity ball in aid of Trekstock last week, and there may well be other events in the pipeline. This is just the latest example of Liam Payne’s big heart and the support that Directioners give the band’s charitable efforts.
