Ashton Kutcher Cheers On Rumer Willis

Rumer Willis, 23, definitely has a fan in her former step-father Ashton Kutcher, who was on hand Tuesday night to hear Rumer sing a three-song set at Hollywood’s Sayers Club Sessions, presented by Jason Scopp.

Sources say that Willis didn’t feel at all nervous about singing her heart out, and that this is a first of many things to come for the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Her famous parents weren’t in attendance for the big night. No word on where Demi was but we do know that she was recently released from rehab. According to an onlooker Rumer greeted Kutcher with a hello after the actor showed up a little after midnight to the gig.

As soon as Willis started her set on stage, Ashton looked on proudly and snapped a few photos with his phone, letting her have her moment in the sun.

As for Rumer’s set, she sang Ann Peebles’s soul track “I Can’t Stand the Rain;””High Low Middle”, My Brightest Diamond; Otis Redding’s “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay”; and British soul singer Lianne La Havas’s “Age.” The on looker continued to say that Ashton Kutcher whistled and even sang a few of the lyrics, really getting into the set along with the rest of the audience.

After the set was over Rumer and Ashton shared an emotional and loving embrace. An on looker said, “It seemed really happy and loving – and like the two would be friendly … no matter what.”
