Selena Gomez Bikini Photo: Singer Responds To Body-Shaming Critics By Saying She Has ‘More To Love’

Selena Gomez is responding to body-shaming critics the best way she knows how — with more bikini pictures.

In the past few days the singer has taken criticism from some people online calling out her fuller figure, but Gomez apparently isn’t too bothered with their opinions. The criticism started when a picture appeared showing a fuller-figured Gomez in a pink bikini.

This week, while on vacation in Mexico with some friends, Selena shared on Instagram a new picture of herself lounging poolside, this time in a black bikini.

She captioned the photo:

“I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove “

Sources close to Selena Gomez say that she has a new confidence in herself along with a healthier figure. An insider told Hollywood Life that Selena now is feeling great and “sexier than she’s ever felt.”

She’s apparently also using her new confidence and bikini pictures as a way to send a message to two men in her life — her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber and her new boyfriend, Zedd.

“She feels super confident and knows Zedd and Justin will see the photos, so this was her way of sending a message to both of them. She feels sexier than she’s ever felt and she wants both of them to see it,” the insider said.

Gomez apparently has other messages for Justin Bieber as well. She was recently spotted wearing a diamond ring, which a source told HollywoodLife was meant as a message to Bieber.

“Selena knows wearing a ring on that finger is going to get attention. She knows it’s going to make everyone ask questions and she knows it will get back to Justin. She still wants his attention.”

But she apparently isn’t too hung up on Bieber. Sources say Selena is quite happy with her new man, and she has gushed about him in interviews.

“He’s this cute little German, and he’s got really beautiful eyes, and he’s very sweet and funny,” Gomez told Alli Simpson on Radio Disney, according to E! News. “I respect his vision because he has a way of knowing how important his role is as an EDM artist, and he doesn’t spend most of his time traveling the world DJing.”

Selena Gomez has used other bikini photos to address her relationship with Bieber, however. Last year, after some pregnancy rumors re-surfaced as she re-united with Bieber, Selena shared a bikini picture and the caption “Taking my power back.”
