Watch IPL 2015 Cricket Live Online: Chennai Super Kings Vs. Mumbai Indians, Streaming Video

The excitement of IPL 2015 continues Friday and fans can watch live online as Chennai Super Kings travel to face the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium — a venue that Chennai Coach Stephen Fleming says is already providing extra motivation for his team’s domestic Indian players — as the site of India’s stirring Cricket World Cup triumph in 2011.

But Chennai will put their 2-0 undefeated record on the line against a Mumbai Indians side desperate and hungry for a win. The Indians entered the eighth Indian Premier League campaign with high expectations, but have yet to win a match in the first three they’ve played.

“The personality of the competition hasn’t yet taken shape. Teams from last year are showing good traits. We’d so far had home games, but we need to maximize here,” said Fleming, the 42-year-old former New Zealand captain. “For the Indian players in our team, this stadium is a good feeling for they won the World Cup here. But playing Mumbai Indians here is going to be tougher, a different challenge.”

For Mumbai, their slow start feels eerily familiar. The team opened IPL 2014 with five defeats — though those games were played in the United Arab Emirates due to security concerns around the Indian general elections, which were taking place at the same time.

“Our preparations are very good, but we are unable to execute our plans fully. Even the last time we were in a similar situation, but we came back well,” said Captain Rohit Sharma.

Mumbai will be hoping that the stellar form of Harbhajan Singh will not be lost after the all-rounder missed the team’s last game, against undefeated Rajasthan Royals, with a stiff neck.

The Indians will also look for sustained run production from West Indian Kieron Pollard who provided many of the team’s highlights in the defeat to Rajasthan.

On the Chennai side, Super Kings and India skipper M.S. Dhoni slammed a 53 off of just 29 balls in the team’s second game — and second victory — over Sunrisers Hyderabad, when CSK posted the only 200-plus run total of the 2015 IPL so far.
