Elizabeth Berkley Expecting First Baby

It’s official Saved By The Bell and Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley is expecting her first child!

The actress announced to People magazine on Monday, that she and her husband, artist and clothing designer, Greg Lauren are expecting their first bundle of joy stating, “In life there are moments you cherish forever and this is one of them. Greg and I are so excited to be expecting our first child this summer. We couldn’t be more grateful and overjoyed.”

In addition to the baby, Berkley has been making sure that her career isn’t in a slump. In the last few years, Elizabeth Berkley has hosted Bravo’s Step Up and Dance competition show, and has made several guest appearances on The L Word and CSI: Miami. In addition Elizabeth wrote a self-help book titled “Ask Elizabeth” about bodies issues. Most recently she starred in the Hallmark Channel’s original movie Lucky Christmas.

The new announcement of the baby doesn’t seem to be a new development in the couple’s lives just by looking at the pictures, it’s easy to say that Elizabeth is out of her first trimester.

The couple married in 2003 after meeting in a dance class nearly three years before the nuptials. Best of luck to the couple!
