Patricia Heaton Memorialized Andrew Breitbart Before Limbaugh/Fluke Flap

Patricia Heaton is no stranger to controversy this week- as we reported earlier, the Middle actress has been raked over the coals for following Rush Limbaugh in slut-shaming Sandra Fluke for speaking out about birth control coverage in the United States.

Heaton later apologized for her remarks, but originally she called student Sandra Fluke out for what the actress seems to believe is a sort of entitlement mentality. Heaton originally tweeted:

“Hey G-Town Gal: Plz let us also pay for your Starbucks, movie theater tickets and your favorite hot wings combo deal at KFC! Anything else?”

Around the same time, however, it seems the actress was busy memorializing another controversial figure- Andrew Breitbart. Breitbart died last week at the young age of 43, leaving behind a wife and four children. In a post on Breitbart’s right-leaning showbiz blog Big Hollywood, Heaton penned a laudatory post underscoring the media provocateur’s empire and commitment to publishing his side of the story, facts notwithstanding.

In the post, Heaton says:

“He did everything with such aplomb, with such joie de vivre, with such a jolly chutzpah that can only come from someone who is both Jewish and Irish! Somehow he was able to be everywhere all at once, instantly responding to texts and e-mails, always ready to right a wrong, to stand up and fight for you.”

The vocally conservative actress continues:

“Anyone who cared to look could see that Andrew was a thoughtful, well-read, deeply informed person who welcomed all, treated everyone the same, and gave everyone a shot. He was most happy when he could engage in a serious exchange with his opponents, and only became the animated provocateur when he encountered mindless bigotry and hatred. Then he gave as good as he got.”

Do you think conservatives like Patricia Heaton are underrepresented in Hollywood?
