Gisele Bundchen’s Catwalk Tears Shows What Tom Brady’s Wife Thinks Of Retirement [Video]
When the super model made her last appearance at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, Gisele Bundchen’s catwalk tears showed just how much Tom Brady’s wife will miss the fashion world as the 34-year-old model gracefully bows out into retirement.
In a related report by the Inquisitr, Gisele Bundchen’s retirement plans have already been explained by the super model. But before making her final turn she left a message for the fans.
“Thank you to all my dear fans who dedicate their time to leave a message here,” read an Instagram photo’s caption. “Thank you for all the love. A kiss in your heart and have a beautiful day!!!”
Gisele Bundchen’s catwalk tears might also be explained by the reason she is retiring. She relates that her body tells her when something is worth doing, and she says “it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop.” Since the young age of 14 she has spent more than half her life so far walking the catwalk, and now she believes it is time for something different. She plans on spending more time with her husband Tom Brady, and her children, Benjamin and Vivian, but that does not mean she is giving up her modeling career entirely.
According to Patricia Bundchen, Gisele’s sister and official representative, the model is not ending her fashion career, but instead “shifting focus towards special projects.”
“She is already cutting back on catwalk appearances and will bid adieu to shows in her own country during the Colcci brand presentation at Sao Paulo Fashion Week.”
Shortly after making the final turn, Gisele also left one final message on Instagram along with a photo showing her 14-year-old self.
“I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.”
Theses other “facets of the business” are apparently print ad campaigns, which will allow her to use her modeling skills in a more focused manner.
Fortunately for the model, Gisele Bundchen’s catwalk tears are not at all due to financial issues. Tom Brady’s net worth alone is $120 million, and Forbes magazine says Bundchen was the highest paid model in 2014, bringing in $47 million in contracts. But Gisele is the real moneymaker in their household, since her net worth was estimated at an astounding $320 million.
