Season 6: Leah Messer Continues Filming ‘Teen Mom 2’ Despite Alleged Divorce From Jeremy Calvert

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 continues to film with Leah Messer and her family. Although the reality star is reportedly in the midst of what could be a messy divorce from husband Jeremy Calvert, MTV isn’t letting Messer off the hook when it comes to her responsibilities for Season 6.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer was reportedly served with divorce papers earlier this week in Elkview, West Virginia. According to In Touch Weekly, Messer thought the process server was a fan wanting an autograph, before realizing what was actually happening.

“When she was delivered the papers, she thought the process server was there for her autograph, [but] when she realized why she was being approached, her mood totally turned around. She was clearly pissed.”

Around the time Season 6 began production, Messer was accused of cheating on her husband with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, who may or may not appear on Season 6. However, just weeks later, Messer took to Twitter, where she alleged she would not be featured on Season 6.

In the months since, there have been many reports about Messer’s role on Season 6, the latest of which came from The Ashley’s Reality Roundup on April 15, and claimed Messer would be featured on Season 6, and is currently filming the show.

The site also claimed Messer has been struggling with a pain-killer addiction throughout Season 6, but couldn’t confirm whether or not she had agreed to go to rehab to address the issue. If she does, however, MTV is reportedly willing to pay the bill, and if they do, her stint will likely be seen on Season 6.

Although Messer is reportedly in need of treatment, In Touch Weekly claims she’s not quite ready to say where she may be headed on Season 6.

“She won’t say she has a drug problem or needs rehab. She’s saying she’s going to go away to a ‘therapy intervention’ place for three or four weeks so she can find herself and help herself be a better person.”

Regardless of what Messer decides, fans are sure to see plenty of drama from the reality star and mother of three when Teen Mom 2 returns for Season 6.

“She has a problem,” another source added, “And knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately.”

Teen Mom 2 Season 6 is expected to premiere later this year on MTV.
