Giuliana Rancic Confirms ‘Fashion Police’ Return

Giuliana Rancic has confirmed that she will be returning to Fashion Police in the fall when the show returns to E!

Rancic made the announcement to Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Wednesday, April 15. She said that the recent controversy surrounding her comments about Zendaya’s dreads, and her ongoing feud with Kelly Osbourne, has drawn more viewers to the show.

“I think more than ever, [‘Fashion Police’] is definitely coming back, because [the controversy] shows that a lot of people were watching the show and enjoyed the show. So yeah, it’s coming back in September, in time for the Emmys. I will be on the show, Brad Goreski will be on the show, and now they just have to fill the other seats.”

Last week, Rancic went on the Today show to promote her new book, Going Off Script, and clarify the comments she made regarding Zendaya’s looks.

“I made a reference to the hippie culture. In the editing process, some of the gestures I made, some of the things I said were taken out for time,” she said. “So I made peace signs, I said bohemian twice. Those were taken out for time, so when the joke aired, some people were offended by it.”

Giuliana, her husband, Bill Rancic, and her son, Duke, are planning on moving to Chicago full-time in August, and there may be a new show in the Rancic’s future, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“Bill and I would love to do something together. I have a great marriage, and we’re thinking maybe something in the relationship space to help people – not just bring them on to fight and get ratings – but actually bring them on to talk about their problems and get them a real solution to their problems.

I find racism reprehensible. I don’t tolerate it at all. Nor have I ever. And I think that’s really important for me to get that out there, because that’s been the hardest part of this, that someone could believe that I actually would have racial undertones in the things I do.”

Giuliana, who recently revealed that her surrogate miscarried her last viable embryo, also spoke about wanting to have another baby. While she admits she doesn’t know how it will happen, she said she would love to expand her family.

“I would love to have another baby. Love,” Rancic said. “We’re talking about it and we’re talking to our doctor and we’re just figuring out what we can do. Can I somehow do IVF again to try to have a baby? Or adoption? We’re not quite sure what it is, but we absolutely want to expand our family. Absolutely.”
