MTV Star Leah Messer-Calvert Served Divorce Papers In West Virginia
MTV star Leah Messer has reportedly gotten one step closer to a divorce. According to an April 15 report by In Touch Weekly, the MTV star was served divorce papers on Wednesday, April 14, in a Smith’s parking lot in West Virginia.
Jeremy Calvert is said to have filed the court documents in Roane County, West Virginia, where the couple once lived together.
“When she was delivered the papers, she thought the process server was there for her autograph,” the source explained, adding that while the MTV star was happy at first, “when she realized why she was being approached, her mood totally turned around.”
“She was clearly pissed.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star is reportedly being forced into rehab after admitting personal issues to her husband. Although the pair has reportedly split, a source told In Touch Weekly, via Radar Online, earlier this week that the Teen Mom 2 star would enter treatment, which would likely be paid for by MTV.
“She’s confessed to Jeremy that she has a problem, and knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately.”
With three children on the line, 5-year-old twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, and a third daughter, 2-year-old Adalynn, the MTV star has a lot at stake. Luckily, she won’t have to pay the bill if she does enter treatment.
“MTV would foot the bill and force Leah into rehab because the network loves her. They last thing they want to see is her going down the same dark path that [co-stars] Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans did.”
The MTV star has been accused of drug use and infidelities for the past several months, starting with Calvert’s claim that she slept with her ex-boyfriend, Robbie Kidd, in October of last year. As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, the MTV star has a history with Kidd. Not only did she date him before meeting her first husband, Corey Simms, Messer also cheated on Simms hours before they wed with Kidd. Following their divorce, the MTV star briefly rekindled her romance with Kidd, before ultimately meeting and marrying her now-estranged husband, Calvert.

The MTV star will return to the network later this year in Teen Mom 2 Season 6. Jeremy Calvert will also be seen.
