Bruce And Demi Family Photo: How The Famous Exes Have Maintained One Of The Closest Relationships In Hollywood

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore have appeared together in a family photo to support daughter Rumer’s Dancing With The Stars run, proving that the famous exes are still going strong as one of the strongest friendships in Hollywood.

The pair split in 1998 after 11 years of marriage, but since then have remained very close as friends. They have often been seen attending family events together, not letting the boundaries drawn by divorce keep them apart.

That was on display this week when Bruce and Demi posed for a family photo along with Rumer after her strong DWTS performance. The picture was posted on Instagram by Rumer’s 21-year-old sister, Tallulah, who included the hashtags #familyportrait and #rare.

A source told Us Weekly that the family was very vocal in their support of Rumer.

“The whole Willis/Moore group was super cute and enthusiastic throughout the whole show. When Rumer did her incredible dance they were all screaming and jumping up and down. Even Bruce was super excited! It was adorable.”

Willis has opened up about their amicable relationship, telling British talk show host Michael Parkinson, “We both love each other.”

Their children seem to be benefiting from the close relationship. After Rumer Willis turned in a strong debut performance on Dancing With The Stars this year, she told FOX411 that she was “on cloud nine” to have performed so well with both her parents watching.

The pair even decided to live nearby in Manhattan a couple of years ago, with Willis buying an $8.8 million apartment in the same building where Moore has lived for years. A source told In Touch magazine that Demi Moore was on board with Bruce buying the expensive pad.

“She actually encouraged Bruce to buy the home,” an unnamed source told the magazine. “[Demi] is really happy. They both love their kids, and living in the same building will give them a lot of privacy.”

Bruce has also been close with Demi’s lovers. He got along quite well with Ashton Kutcher during his marriage to Demi Moore, and the trio often hung out together at family outings.

“We hang out. He’s a pretty cool guy,” Bruce said at the time. “I love Demi, we are still friends. I wish her nothing but the best and much happiness.”

The Bruce and Demi family photo also showed that Demi apparently feels the same way. She was pictures smiling alongside Bruce’s new wife, Emma Heming.
