WWE News: Daniel Bryan Pulled From WWE European Tour, Health A Huge Concern

After Daniel Bryan succumbed to a serious injury that kept him out of action for many months, he finally returned to the Royal Rumble this year and received numerous praises. The WWE fans wanted him to win the Royal Rumble match, but after being out for so long, it didn’t make sense. Now, Bryan is the WWE Intercontinental champion after his victory at WrestleMania 31.

At this moment, Daniel Bryan is going to face Bad News Barrett for the strap at Extreme Rules. According to many, this match has the potential to steal the show. Both workers are excellent in their own right, plus, the fans love Bryan and Barrett.

Even though Bryan is over with the fans and clearly a top star in the WWE, his health has become a huge question mark to WWE officials. In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Bryan’s health is a red flag, which is why he isn’t in the WWE’s main event picture. Is there more to the story? According to Wrestling Inc, Bryan was supposed to work the European Tour with the WWE, but plans have changed.

Daniel Bryan has apparently been pulled from the rest of the current WWE European tour. The most recent advertising for the rest of the tour has Bryan removed from the remaining shows.”

“We noted earlier this week that Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bryan has been working hurt.”

Bryan hasn’t wrestled on WWE Raw in two weeks. Even though he took part in the WWE Smackdown tapings last night, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Bryan is healthy. Like Meltzer noted, he’s been working hurt for the recent future. The ladder match at WrestleMania couldn’t have helped his situation. In fact, it probably hurt him long-term.

For the fans that want to see Daniel Bryan fight for the WWE World Heavyweight championship, that might never happen again. Like any legend that endures an injury, it’s nothing people want to see. Just by looking at Edge four years ago, he had no choice but to retire. He had to relinquish the World Heavyweight championship after his last match against Alberto Del Rio.

Bryan is working hurt and wants to work. That’s the sign of a true warrior, as Bryan never wants to take time off. The WWE also loves having Bryan on because of his appeal to children. Above all else, he’s very popular with the Internet Wrestling Community. Sooner or later, Bryan will have to call it quits. For now, enjoy Daniel Bryan in the WWE.
