Apparently — even though he lost to The Undertaker at WrestleMania— Bray Wyatt is WWE’s new face of fear, and he’s once again targeting a mystery man, except this time, it’s actually a mystery, or, maybe not. It looks like Wyatt will not have a match at this month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, possibly because he’s still recovering from the ankle injury he suffered while preparing for his match with The Undertaker. But, when he is ready to get back into the ring, there’s a good chance that his next opponent will be NXT standout Finn Balor.
This past Monday on RAW, Bray Wyatt cut yet another cryptic promo, and towards the end he said “I’m talking to you.” He then turned around and revealed a symbol on the back of his jacket that resembled one of Balor’s “war paint” designs.
It’s expected that Finn Balor will be making his main roster debut at some point in the very near future, as one of the conditions of his WWE contract was that he wouldn’t be in NXT for very long. Furthermore, Balor is now out of the NXT Championship picture and is the highest paid developmental star WWE has. So, in order for WWE to get their money’s worth, Balor needs to be brought up to the main-roster as soon as possible.
Balor was at this past Monday’s RAW, and he even tweeted out that he was ready to go, so it’s extremely possible that WWE is getting ready to have Balor debut on the main-roster.

WWE did consider having Balor debut the night after WrestleMania, but they felt that having three different NXT acts debut on one show would be too much, so they decided to push Balor’s debut back. It’s possible that WWE could have Balor debut at Extreme Rules and finally respond to Bray Wyatt.
There’s some talk that Wyatt is targeting Roman Reigns, however, it looks like Reigns will continue to battle it out with The Authority for the foreseeable future, as he continues his quest to defeat Seth Rollins and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
There’s also been some speculation that Wyatt is targeting Triple H, which is a long shot, but it’s possible. Other names that have been mentioned for Wyatt’s next feud include Dolph Ziggler and Ryback, who are both more likely possibilities than Triple H.
