Netflix Renews ‘Orange Is The New Black’ For Season 4

Good news for fans of Orange Is the New Black. Although the third season hasn’t even premiered on Netflix, the streaming service has decided to renew the show for a fourth season.

This isn’t much of a surprise. Aside from the critical acclaim and awards, Orange Is the New Black is a consistent buzzed about show regardless of when Netflix drops a new season.

When Netflix previewed the trailer for Season 3, fans took to social media to express their excitement, which might have perked the streaming service’s ears up in terms of going forward with a fourth season.

Instead of making an official announcement about the renewal, Emmy winner, Uzo Aduba, who plays fan favorite Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” on the show, decided to announce the exciting news while on Good Morning America. Aduba said on Wednesday morning, “Season 4 is now the new news.”

To gear up for the upcoming season, which drops on June 12, Netflix decided to release a new sneak peek. The clip features Suzanne defending Vee, a character that might have seen her end when she was hit by a vehicle driven by an escaped inmate in the season finale.

In the clip, when Poussey suggests that she got squashed, Suzanne has one of her famous outbursts. “She’s fine! Vee is fine! She’s coming back for me!”

The outburst gets the attention of a guard, who suggests that Taystee might be Suzanne’s new “keeper.”

Here’s a look at the new clip released by Netflix

So far, fans are holding their breath just waiting for the new season to begin.
