The Rihanna cocaine allegations have exploded, and it seems as if the fallout from a video that was posted on Instagram purporting to show Rihanna doing cocaine is continuing to spread online. First off, the viral video is posted below, but be warned about the NSFW language contained therein.
As reported by the Inquisitr, some fans were a little miffed about Rihanna’s “American Oxygen” video only appearing on Jay Z’s Tidal music streaming service — and not uploaded on YouTube for all to watch freely. Now with the alleged cocaine controversy following Rihanna, the pop star is responding in a heated manner.
According to screenshots of the official Rihanna Instagram account “BadGalRiRi” responding to an Instagram user whose “@1ezmoney” reportedly originally posted the video with an incendiary cocaine charge in the description, Rihanna was pretty heated with the Instagram user’s accusations of cocaine use. The 1ezmoney Instagram account has been deleted, but the Google cache of the description is still live, with accusations of Rihanna being the next Whitney Houston clearly shown.
“Rihanna snorting coke now smh #shethenextwhitney.”
According to the screenshots of the BadGirlRiRi Instagram response, which also includes a photo of Rihanna sipping a Coke in her latest Instagram post and calling the cocaine accusations “petty,” 26-year-old Rihanna commented with a heated reply to the accusations of drug use.
“N**** your lame a** got some f****** nerve!! Any fool could see that’s a joint that I’m basing with cigarette! Who TF snorts tobacco?!! FOH witcho ‘never been to a rodeo so someone squeezing their nose means they’re doing coke’ lookin a**!! It ain’t fake!! This lil b**** @1ezmoney posted it with a caption full of defamation.”
As reported by the Business Insider, Rihanna’s response means she admitted to smoking marijuana by mentioning a joint. Apparently, RiRi claims that she was hollowing out a cigarette to then fill with weed to smoke — a feat that’s often done by smokers who empty out cigars and fill them with weed to create what’s called a “spliff,” or a joint with stronger surroundings than using rolling papers.
However, Rihanna’s use of the word “basing” is confusing, because that’s a term often associated with cocaine use. Either way, the video seen around the world has fans wondering exactly what was captured on camera — and what Rihanna’s next move will be in response. At this point, the lyrics to her fabulous song seem appropos.
Breathe out, breathe in…”American Oxygen.”
