Lindsay Lohan Thinks She Did Awesome Hosting SNL

Regardless of what the rest of the world thinks of Lindsay Lohan hosting the hit NBC series Saturday Night Live, the young actress believes that she did a good job. The not so great reviews of the show last night told a different story.

Lindsay Lohan, often recognized for her performance in Disney’s The Parent Trap (1998), supposedly told sources that she knows that her performance on SNL wasn’t “perfect.” To her credit, her singing monologue was apparently removed at the last minute and that could have bolstered her performance considerably, but I guess we’ll never know.

Again, to Lohan’s credit, the episode was certainly one of the best Saturday Night Live shows to date with Lindsay poking fun at herself and her own string of misfortunes including theft, drugs, and ankle monitors.

Cameos by Jimmy Fallon, Jon Hamm, and Kristen Wiig made Lindsay Lohan’s otherwise dreary hosting more than bearable as the bunch were nothing short of hilarious.

While Lindsay Lohan wasn’t necessarily what I would consider to be the best Saturday Night Live host I’ve seen, she did do an excellent job of redeeming herself by making light of her past misfortunes. For which, I personally applaud the young star for her ability to take it all in stride.

What did you think of Lohan’s performance hosting Saturday Night Live? Was it as good as the now infamous Debbie Downer SNL skit with Lindsay Lohan?
