Brittany Snow Twerking: Actress Injured While Twerking For ‘Pitch Perfect 2’

Brittany Snow was injured while twerking in Pitch Perfect 2. According to People Magazine, Snow, 29, opened up about the new, highly anticipated movie during an interview with Cosmopolitan (the May issue), and revealed that she actually got hurt while filming a scene. Ironically, it was one of her favorite scenes to film.

“One of my favorite scenes to do in Pitch Perfect 2 was this number where we really get dirty with our dancing. We had a month of rehearsals learning how to do things I’m just not cool enough to do in my real life. I’m a really bad twerker – I still haven’t figured out how to do it. I actually hurt my back one day. I woke up the next morning and my back was completely tweaked out … from twerking.”

Brittany Snow’s twerking skills (or lack thereof) will undoubtedly be part of a great scene. Pitch Perfect fans simply cannot wait for the sequel, which hits theaters on May 15. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the movie will follow the Bellas as they “go global,” competing against other acapella groups from all over the world. And yes, there will be another riff off, and this one looks even better than the original!

Many are thrilled that the original cast is back (especially Snow and Anna Camp who technically graduated last time).

Brittany Snow didn’t only talk about twerking in her interview. According to WebProNews, the actress talked about her relationship with actor Tyler Hoechlin (from MTV’s Teen Wolf). While there has been a lot of curiosity about the status of their relationship, Snow says that the two are really happy together, but that they like to keep their personal lives private.

“Sometimes if you give too much away, it loses its magic, as cheesy as that sounds. We like to keep our moments to ourselves, which is why we don’t do much social media. We’re not hiding anything. We’re not not wanting people to know. Social media, for me, is about interacting with people who follow my career. I don’t think my relationship has anything to do with my career. So we just keep it simple, try not to think about it that much, and just be us.”
