After calling it quits in 2010, it seems like one of our favorite Friends couples has happily moved on. For over a decade, fans have witnessed the couple turn an onscreen romance to a real relationship but with their split, the fans are now in for a new story as David Arquette and Courteney Cox go on their separate ways.
Last Sunday, Arquette tied the knot with entertainment reporter Christina McLarty in an intimate wedding ceremony, which included only a handful of relatives and close friends. Among their honored guests is the couple’s 11-month-old son, Charlie West, and Arquette’s 10-year-old daughter with Cox, Coco Riley.

The wedding came after four years of being together and a romantic proposal at a Malibu ocean-front restaurant. The actor asked for McLarty’s sweet “yes” outside of the restaurant in front of the public.
“I take her outside … and then I ask her, and she’s like, ‘No, what are you doing? There are so many people watching!’ ” Arquette related. “I had a do-over, and it worked.” Charlie West and Coco Riley were also present during their father’s proposal.
McLarty was elated by Arquette’s proposal and gushed about her relationship to Us Weekly.
“He is the love of my life and I love him and my family so much. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.”
Last year, many were worried that the two might call it off after they had been spotted arguing outside Craig’s Restaurant in Los Angeles. Arquette was captured on camera shouting at his fiancée while she was in tears. However, the actor cleared it up with the media, saying that their fight was due to the stress of dealing with a new baby in the family.
“We are both hormonal and haven’t slept in six months. Christina is still breastfeeding, I feel like I am,” Arquette explained.
McLarty was previously in a relationship with Girls Gone Wild producer Joe Francis. They were never officially married, but they entered a civil domestic partnership back in November, 2010. They never had children and split up shortly thereafter.
Meanwhile, Cox is also looking forward to her happily ever after as she is currently engaged to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid. The actress announced her engagement a few days before Arquette popped the question to McLarty. Cox is slated to marry later this year.
