‘DWTS’ Disney Night Spoilers: Mickey And Minnie Hit The Dance Floor For A Magical Night Of Dancing
It’s a big night for Disney fans on Dancing with the Stars tonight, with nine couples performing two songs from classic Disney films, including Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Hercules, and Mary Poppins. An evening of magical entertainment on “Disney Night” will start with a spectacular opening number that includes five special guests and the entire DWTS cast.
The fifth week of the competition will kick off with Disney characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, and Goofy. The characters will perform on stage with the nine remaining celebrities and their pro-dance partners. After the opening number, the nine remaining celebrities and their partners will perform two songs from popular Disney movies like Aladdin, Mary Poppins, and Frozen.
Unfortunately, this night of fun won’t have a fairytale ending — one couple will go home at the end of the show.

This is the second year ABC has hosted a “Disney Night” on DWTS, one that the Huffington Post reports took nine months to plan. The show’s executive producer, Rob Wade, states that there’s a lot of work behind the scenes to make the show a memorable one.
“This time around, we’re going all out. We’ll have live Disney characters — Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Pluto — performing in the show’s opening number. We’ll even be flying people as part of this week’s dance routines, just like in Aladdin… Truth be told, you’re going to see Disney characters throughout this week’s show. At one point, you’ll even see an animated Pinocchio clapping at the judge’s table.”
Which songs will the celebs and their partners dance to, and who will wear the best Disney-themed costume of the night? Here’s a look at what’s in store for Dancing with the Stars fans tonight, courtesy of ABC.
