Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian And Kanye West Try To Block Worshippers From Entering Armenian Cathedral

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kanye West seemed to rile up church officials Saturday while on their trip to Armenia.

Kim Kardashian is currently traveling through Armenia with sister Khloe, husband Kanye West and their daughter, North West, on a voyage to discover their ancestral homeland.

According to the Associated Press, the entourage made a stop Saturday in Gyumri, a city 90 kilometers (55 miles) northwest of the capital Yerevan.

When Kim Kardashian and her clan tried to enter the Cathedral of the Holy Mother, bodyguards reportedly tried to bar journalists and onlookers from entering the sacred church behind them.

But help for all who wanted to enter came in the form of the local bishop, Mikayel Adjapagian, who reportedly objected to the bodyguards attempting to bar worshippers, or anyone else, from entering the church.

Kim Kardashian and her family continued their visit to the cathedral, presumably with journalists and other in tow.

Following their sacred visit, the family visited an unoccupied house that was reportedly once the home of some Kardashian ancestors. Sister Kourtney Kardashian chose to forego the trip, according to Access Hollywood, because she felt uneasy leaving her little ones at home. In an Instagram post, Kourtney said it was just too much with three children in tow and she didn't want to leave them at home.

"I wish I was in Armenia with my sisters on #siblingsday! I didn't end up going to Armenia because it was making me too anxious with three young children."
I do wish that I could have experienced the trip with my sisters but I do know that we will all go to Armenia together someday.
Another absent sibling was brother Rob Kardashian, who hasn't travelled since his brief visit to Florence, Italy for Kim and Kanye's wedding weekend in May 2014.

Two Kardashian cousins, Kara and Kourtni, also joined the group, who visited with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, on Friday.
