Robert Herjavec Gave Kym Johnson A Gift Heading Into ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Disney Week

Robert Herjavec apparently promised Kym Johnson a Ferrari if the pair wins Dancing with the Stars. Although they have yet to top the leaderboard, Robert and Kym have put in some impressive performances, including last week’s waltz dedicated to Herjavec’s late mother.

That waltz featured Johnson in a long dress that co-host Erin Andrews said reminded her of Peaches and Cream Barbie. Johnson and Andrews took to Twitter to emphasize the comparison.

Herjavec, ever the gentleman, gifted Johnson with a special treat as they head into the last weekend before their performance Monday night. It’s not a Ferrari, but it may be a collector’s item. Johnson posted an Instagram pic of an actual Peaches and Cream Barbie from 1985. She captioned the photo “look what @robertherjavec surprised me with!”

Robert and Kym may have looked like a prince and princess on Monday night, but fans should not expect Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast for Disney theme night. The Shark Tank investor and the seasoned pro will take on the Julie Andrews classic Mary Poppins.

On his blog for Entertainment Weekly, Herjavec wrote about starting on the Mary Poppins routine right after a successful performance to “The Last Waltz.” He credits Johnson, his rumored love interest, for keeping them on track despite the pressures of the program.

“Just when we nailed the frame and got our first 9s, it’s time to change things up. It’s Disney week, and we’re starting a brand new routine TODAY! A lot of people on Twitter want to know how we can possibly be ready to perform a dance live over a matter of days. The truth is—I have no idea! Kym is an excellent teacher and we train every day. It’s very hard—I’m spending at least 6 hours a day practicing. Then I watch footage back to understand where I’m making mistakes, and what the movement should look like.”

If Robert and Kym don’t win, Johnson can rest assured that she only lost out on a used Ferrari. TMZ reported in March that the Ferrari he promised was not a new model, but one from his own collection.

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
