One Direction May Have Left Their Record Label Modest Management, Directioners Freak Out On Twitter

Reports are swirling that One Direction may have left their record label. Directioners have already crashed the Modest Management website since discovering their beloved boy band is no longer listed on there. The fans have also taken to Twitter to react about the news. They’re hoping that their new meltdown will get Zayn Malik to rejoin One Direction, according to Metro.

The rumor started when Louis Tomlinson removed a reference to Modest Management from his Twitter bio. That’s when fans went to the Modest Management site to see if the boy band was still listed. Apparently, the fans crashed the site as well, as too many of them went to check it out.

As you can see below, One Direction isn’t listed along with the other artists on the Modest Management page. Their account has also been suspended, according to the website. The URL for One Direction’s bio page has also been removed from the Modest Management website.

However, the Twitter and Facebook accounts for Modest Management are still up and running. There also hasn’t been any announcements about One Direction leaving their record label.

Neither Modest Management nor One Direction has yet to comment on the rumors. That hasn’t stopped fans from tweeting with the hashtag #1DIsFinallyFreeFromModest. It’s been causing worldwide mass hysteria on the social networking site.

Directioners appear to be happy about the news that the boy band has left their record label. There are some fans who fear that they could be breaking up soon, maybe shortly after their world tour.

“Mark this day on your calendars. This is independence day for One Direction and for the fandom. #1DisFinallyFreeFromModest”

“WHY AM I AT SCHOOL I SHOULD BE CELEBRATING.” #1DIsFinallyFreeFromModest”

“If Modest is gone then Larry will come out, Zayn will come back, boys on break. Happy days! I can’t take this OMFG. #1DIsFinallyFreeFromModest”

E! Online has reported that One Direction is moving on without Zayn Malik. The boy band just unveiled their new poster for their On the Road Again world tour. As you can see, Zayn has yet again been removed from One Direction’s concert tour.

The Sun also shared some photos of the remaining four guys on tour. The guys were reportedly all smiles and looked as happy as they did before Zayn Malik’s sudden departure from One Direction. As you all know, the singer cited “stress” for his reason for leaving the band. He said that he wanted to live his life like “a normal 22-year-old” despite being seen in the recording studio with music producer Naughty Boy. One Direction has been acting like their old selves. One photo shows the guys smiling for the cameras while another shows Harry Styles giving the camera a goofy smile.

Now Magazine is reporting that One Direction did not break ties with their record label. One Direction’s publicist allegedly told the magazine that the boy band has “not parted ways with Modest Management,” despite the rumors rocking social media.

What are your thoughts on One Direction leaving their record label? Do you think they’re finally free? Or do you think they’re finally breaking up?
