Big Sean Protest? Princeton Students Start Petition To Ban Ariana Grande’s Boyfriend’s Performance

Students at Princeton University have started a petition to ban rapper Big Sean from performing at the school’s annual Lawnparties event, according to Hot New Hip Hop. Sean’s latest song, “IDFWI,” has earned him a lot of success in the charts. However, some lyrics in the song are a bit misogynist and have led students to protest against the rapper’s appearance at the school.

Students have even gone so far as put up signs around campus featuring other song lyrics from the rapper that are also misogynistic in nature. Despite the petition and complaints from the students the concert will likely still happen. This is mainly due to contractual obligations, according to school organizers.

In other news, Big Sean recently posted an angry tweet aimed at Justin Bieber that he quickly took down. The tweet was in response to Bieber getting a little close with Sean’s girlfriend, Ariana Grande. After taking down said tweet, Sean claimed the entire thing was a hoax and that he didn’t post the message, according to TMZ.

The situation stems from a concert Bieber performed with Grande in Los Angeles. During the show Bieber got a little close to Grande and put his hands on her waist, leading Sean to tweet, “This kid is about to learn not to touch my girl like that. Beliebe that.”

Bieber and Grande both failed to address the issue even after the tweet made news. Instead, they both thanked fans for coming out and watching them perform.

Meanwhile, Sean is currently in Canada on a music tour and seems to be missing his family. The singer posted a tweet while on the road, saying “So many times in my life I wish I could have been at 2 places at once.” Though some believe the message is about Bieber and the concert incident, sources say that it had nothing to do with Bieber.

Speaking of Bieber, the young musician is still looking for a girlfriend. “This business is hard, and I want someone I can confide in,” he explained in an interview with USA Today. “I’m just trying to make sure I’m 100 percent so I can add to the person I want to be with.”

After promptly taking down the tweet, a representative for Sean stated that it was a fake tweet and that the two singers are good friends. At the same time, the rep stated that Big Sean and his girlfriend are doing great despite their busy lives on the road.
