Sandra Bullock 911: Dramatic Audio Played In Court At Alleged Stalker’s Hearing

Dramatic audio recorded when Sandra Bullock called 911, after she spotted an intruder in her Bel Air home, was played in court during her stalker’s hearing Thursday.

The frantic Sandra Bullock 911 call clearly shows how frightened she was of the man who broke into her home while she was alone. She is heard panting as she tries to explain to the dispatcher what is going on.

Joshua Corbett pled not guilty to entering the actress’ residence in the exclusive Bel Air neighborhood where many celebrities live. Despite having security at the gate, the man was able to gain access to the home through a first floor door.

The chilling incident took place in July of 2014, when Sandra Bullock came face-to-face with Corbett right outside her bedroom door, according to a report from TMZ. It was 1 a.m. when the 50-year-old star heard banging noises inside her home.

“I thought it was a wind blowing,” Bullock said of the scary break-in. “Then I saw the person.”

As Sandra Bullock realized there was an intruder in her home, she locked the bedroom door and went to hide in a closet, where she called 911. While she was waiting for police to arrive, the dispatcher got details of what was happening.

In the 911 tape, Bullock is heard talking to the male dispatcher while clearly in fear for her safety. She says she is in her closet and has a fortified door to her bedroom. The actress explains where the closet is located and asks if the police are on their way multiple times, as the intruder pounded on her door.

While police were en route, Sandra Bullock said she was not armed and her son was not in the home. She also explained how to use her security system, which was installed in a gate at the end of her driveway.

“I don’t know where they’re responding from, Sandra… But I can tell you that they’re responding with lights and sirens,” the 911 dispatcher is heard telling Sandra Bullock.

The Gravity star told police how to find her bedroom. When officers arrived in her bedroom, she was relieved and tearfully thanked the dispatcher, who stayed with her for a few more minutes.

“Thank you so much for being so… thank you,” Bullock told the man.

“Sandra, that’s what we’re here for, ma’am,” the dispatcher responded, adding that the subject was taken into custody by police.

Corbett was reportedly carrying a notebook full of cut-out pictures of Sandra Bullock and handwritten notes one of which read, “I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.”

“Sandy, I’m sorry. Please don’t press charges,” Corbett allegedly screamed while he was taken away by police, Los Angeles police Officer Jose Bermudez testified in court.

Prosecutors described several firearms and rifles found at Corbett’s home as an “arsenal of weapons.” However, he was not armed when he broke into Sandra Bullock’s home. A judge will determine whether there is enough evidence for Corbett to stand trial.
