Teresa Giudice Eyed For ‘RHONJ’ Return? ‘Bravo Wants Her Back’

Teresa Giudice could return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey when she’s released from prison next year. Although no official word on Season 7 has yet been released, a source claims Bravo would love to have Teresa Giudice back on the show as soon as she’s available.

“Bravo wants [Teresa Giudice] back” for season seven of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, an insider told Us Weekly on April 9, adding Melissa Gorga will likely return to the show, as well.

In addition to Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga, Bravo is reportedly scouting a number of potential new housewives, including Traci Lynn Johnson, 28, wife of NFL pro Tiki Barber, Lisa Valastro, 40, girlfriend of Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, and Erica Levy, 40, wife of talk show host Geraldo Rivera.

As for the Season 6 housewives, Dina Manzo, Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea, and Nicole Napolitano, the insider gave no information.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s husband, Joe, is said to be in talks to star in his own reality show, which would chronicle his life as a temporarily single parent to his and Teresa Giudice’s four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5.

Earlier this month, E! News reported of the series, noting Teresa Giudice hadn’t yet agreed to her husband and children being filmed. Days later, Radar Online claimed Teresa Giudice and her husband had signed a deal with Bravo to begin filming the spinoff series.

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in. With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

According to the Radar Online source, producers of the yet-to-be-named series have requested phone calls and email correspondence between Teresa Giudice and her family be included in the footage, and while they are aware that filming Teresa Giudice behind bars will be off limits, they plan to have a camera crew set up for the car rides to and from prison.

“There will be no cameras allowed inside the prison, and prison officials will be monitoring the situation to make sure Teresa continues to obey all the rules. Failure to do so could result in her early release, scheduled for February 2016, to be nixed.”

Teresa Giudice will be behind bars until early 2016, and filming on The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to begin production in the next couple of months.
