‘Young And Restless’ Spoilers: Adam And Sage Make It Official, Chelsea Gets Bad News

Secrets are on the brink of exploding on The Young and the Restless. Victor’s moving ahead with big plans, Adam is getting closer to Chelsea, and the fallout from Austin and Courtney’s murders continues. What Young and Restless spoilers are available for the Thursday, April 9 episode?

As We Love Soaps teases, Devon will try to get some help from Hilary regarding Neil’s case. However, Young and Restless spoilers indicate she won’t jump on board with his plans. It seems Devon will ask her to go with him to the authorities and explain their part in what caused the strife with Neil and subsequently the accident. However, she is said to refuse.

Young and Restless spoilers from She Knows Soaps indicate that Devon will plead with Mobley to understand what drove Neil to drink that night and be so antagonistic in the car with Nikki. Mobley isn’t swayed and indicates that he’s going for the longest sentence he can. Later, Hilary calls Mobley, saying she’s Ann and she wants to get together.

Also ahead on Thursday’s episode, Phyllis and Summer will talk about all that’s been going on. Summer will praise Kyle for his support, and she’ll tell her mother she wants the wedding to Jack to move forward despite Austin and Courtney’s murders.

In the meantime, Jack and Kyle are talking about Jabot. Jack wants his son to join the team and help the company, but Kyle isn’t all that interested. Later, Kyle and Summer plan to head to the charity event together.

Elsewhere, Leslie will be asking Nikki questions about the accident and Neil. Victor will intervene, telling Nikki not to say anything more. The two will fight after Leslie leaves, as Victor says Nikki can’t trust Neil’s lawyer. They also exchange words about Jack, though she says she doesn’t want to see problems at the charity event.

Once Victor is alone, Y&R spoilers indicate he’ll talk to his mystery partner on the phone about destroying the Abbott family. He’ll mention that both he and his partner will end up at the top, leading to more speculation about just who this secret partner is.

When it comes to Adam and Sage, big things are ahead on Thursday’s episode. The two fight over her conversation with Chelsea, and soon Sage tells Mr. Tipton she’s done with the marriage. Adam begs her not to move forward and they argue, but ultimately she tells Tipton to pull together the paperwork to end things.

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Sage will tell Nick about the separation, indicating it’s because of Nick that she was ready to move forward. The two will spend some quality time together as they look forward.

Mobley and “Ann” will have sex, and afterward he gets a call from Leslie to talk about a deal. Mobley indicates there’s no deal on the table, making Hilary smile. Nikki and Neil will talk, as she pushes him to try to help himself. Devon later throws out the idea of Neil taking off, but Neil says no.

Chelsea heads back to the penthouse and tells Anita about Gabe’s confessions. Chelsea defends her feelings and says she’s changed her mind about delaying her wedding plans with Billy. Soon, Adam arrives and introduces himself to Anita. She has a lot of questions for him, and he convinces her that Chelsea should give him a chance. It seems Anita will be convinced.

When Chelsea returns, Adam tells her about the split with Sage. He says that Chelsea means so much to him that he told the estate manager his marriage with Sage was done, and Chelsea gets very emotional. As it turns out, though, her emotional state isn’t over Adam — it’s over bad news she just got from Connor’s doctor.

Will whatever is going on with Connor be the catalyst for Adam’s real identity finally emerging? Or will Adam continue to try to get closer to Chelsea as Gabe, despite a medical crisis for his son?
