Snooki Lied? Turns Out She Really IS Pregnant
Internet rumors earlier this month claimed that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi of some show called Jersey Shore was expecting. Just about everyone wearing an Internet journalism press pass was quick to clear it up and dismiss those reports as rumors (including us!). Well, looks like we all got it wrong, as now several reports are claiming that the reality-TV starlet is indeed preggo.
Snooki herself denied reports earlier this month that she was pregnant. The New York Post is calling bullsh** on that, saying that she is in fact three months along. The Post (after calling Snooki ‘trashy’) is also saying that she is planning to use the new child to boost her public image, and that she wants to be “the next Kourtney Kardashian.”
Snooki is planning on making her big announcement on the cover of Us Weekly, and the father is reportedly none-other that long-term boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
The reaction?
One source commented that Snooki’s bread-and-butter MTV, “went into crisis mode after they found out,” adding, “They’re trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction” of some Jersey Shore spinoff Snooki just started filming with Jenni “JWoww” Farley, concentrating on their drunken soprano-pitched adventures together. The Post notes that on set, Snooki has been suspiciously seen “carrying large bags to hide her belly.”
An MTV rep said that the network “doesn’t comment on series in production.” Yawn. Polizzi’s rep declined to comment. (which makes sense, if she is indeed waiting for Us Weekly).
